According to the recent Census data released June 23 2010, city of Frisco TX became the fastest growing city of the past decade (from 2000 to 2009). In 2000, over 33,000 residents called Frisco TX home and today, (in 2010), over 108,000 people call Frisco TX home. Frisco TX became the highest average annual growth of a whopping 204%! Now, that's something to be proud of.

So what's bringing people to Frisco TX calling it home?

Frisco TX Stonebriar Mall When I first moved to Frisco in early 2000, Frisco TX was still pretty much farm land. When we contracted to have our first home built in Parkside Estates, the closest activities, shopping and "happenings" were across Highway SH 121 in Plano. Nope, it didn't have the Super Walmart, we had to drive to the Colony for that. We didn't know Stonebriar Mall was going to be built. Today, you don't need to leave Frisco - if you didn't want to. Frisco TX is a shopping, retail, restaurant and sports mecca in North Texas. When Ikea decided to open its doors in Frisco TX, it was a great boost to our Frisco pride because of all the cool cities around Frisco, Ikea chose Frisco. For the longest time, we who live in the North Dallas area would make weekend trips to Houston just to shop at Ikea.

Today (in 2010), the City of Frisco demographics are as below:

As of January 2010, the estimated Frisco TX population is 108,500.

Approximately 36% of Frisco TX residents reside in Denton County and 64% in Collin County.
Females make up 52%, males 48% of the Frisco TX population.
The median age is 33 years with the largest age group 30-39 at 29.1%, 18-29 (16.1%) and 0-9 (21.4%).
The median household income in Frisco TX is $103,295.
In 2008 there were 35,000 households in Frisco, with an average size of three people.
67% of households are married couples with children.
One-third of the population is younger than 18 years; 5% is 65 years or better.
34,000 students were enrolled in Frisco ISD for the 2009/2010 school year.
52.5% of Frisco TX residents are college graduates, 7.9% are post-college graduates, 97.9% are high school graduates.
31% of Frisco TX residents are professionals, 21.7% acts in the managerial capacity, 15.1% in Administrative support, 14.3% in sales

Since 2000, Frisco TX has concentrated in growing steadily and with much thought. Frisco TX is built to support a strong family lifestyle as well as professionals and executive lifestyles. Our home prices, the "newness" of our Frisco TX homes with open and spacious floorplans along with wonderful city planning, shopping, parks and sports make most people love Frisco TX almost immediately. Our City of Frisco TX building inspection department also have strict home building codes to reinforce home builders to build energy efficient homes.

Our Frisco ISD is also very strong. Frisco ISD hire highly educated teachers along with teachers with caring personalities. Many of them stay late into the evening calling parents (if needed) to update the parents of school children about their progress.

The first impression of Frisco is also very organized, laid out well as well as clean.

As an unofficial ambassador of Frisco TX, I am proud to help relocate many people from all over the country to Frisco. I typically meet clients in Frisco, put them in my car and drive them around Frisco and show them what this wonderful city has to offer. I have yet to find people who do not like Frisco. Also, as much as our Frisco TX weather is hot in the Summer, so are our Frisco TX residents. You most likely will not meet a "stranger" here in Frisco.
