Not all Real Estate agents are created equal. Some are more productive than others. Some sell more homes than others. Some sell every single home that are listed. Now, which category of agents would you want to choose?

A successful home selling plan depends on several factors: Your location, your house, your features and in the end, it boils down to price. With everything RIGHT or WRONG, it can be fixed with the right price.

Sure, you don't want to give your house away and neither should you.

In the end, all that matters to you should be your "Walk-away Dollar" ie. your bottom line amount, after you pay the cost of home selling.

As a consumer, I understand the need to shop around. But at the same time, it is VITAL to select the BEST based on the value and price.

Your ultimate goal in home selling is not necessarily the sale of the property itself. It is to get you where you want to go. The home selling is just an obstacle to get you from where you want to be. Hence, there is a "PRICE" to pay for making that obstacle go away easier and quicker.

You select the BEST agent for the job based on experience and market knowledge. You may not necessarily want to go with an agent who would tell you that s/he plans to list it for the HIGHEST PRICE. A price is just a number until serious interests come in. In plain English, you could possibly ask ALL you want, but will your buyer thinks it's fair?

To select this Bottom Line Agent, you should ask all the right questions. When you interview all high-octane real estate agents that can get the job done, you have your instincts to tell you if it's possible. Use it.

How good would it be if an agent charge you less, but in the end, your bottom line dollar is less than an agent who would charge double but you walk away with more?

So many times, sellers make a decision factor on what the agent thinks s/he could "list" it for as well as the agent commission. Again, let me remind you, a Listing price is a listing price. It does no good until an accepted offer (to you) comes in. Would you pay more if you knew you paid for experience and expertise?
