Plano TX reported 309 home sales for the month of July 2009. These numbers include single-family homes, condos, duplexes and townhomes. Up to 07/31/2009, 1,633 homes sold in Plano Texas for the year. When compared to the same time last year, Plano TX sold 2,148 homes for the same period in 2008. The numbers are down 24% in number of transactions and down 27% in real estate value.

The lowest priced home sold for $61,000 (3-bedroom, 2-bathroom property, 1,280 square feet) in East Plano TX 75074. It is an older starter home, built in 1971. It is bank-owned foreclosure.
 

The most expensive priced home sold for $1,150,000 (5-bedroom, 8 bathrooms, over 7,800 square feet) in Willow Bend Lakes Plano TX 75093. Although it was built in 1985, this home has been remodeled to reflect today's sought-after features and upgrades to include a billiard's room, gourmet kitchen, 3-car plus porte cochere, travertine and hardwood floors throughout, music room, study, media, a commercial grade wet bar and remodeled pool with gazebo and outdoor fireplace.
 

The average home in Plano Texas is 4-bedroom, 3 bathrooms, just over 2,600 square feet and sold for $254,889 in 67 days on the market.

SOLD = 47 homes (78 days on market, $100/sq.ft.)

Real Estate Commentaries based on the above market data:

Currently, Plano TX has 982 homes available for purchase. The biggest market movers are the $100K - $200K price group, then followed by $200K - $300K group. The higher price ranges are staying on the market longer. Hence, that is the type of market to expect from such price ranges.
