Kings Lake is located in North West Plano, just west of Midway and Spring Creek Parkway. Kings Lake is the 3rd and last phase of the Kings Ridge subdivision.

In December 2009 when this article was published, Toll Brothers is the new home builder at Kings Lake. They began construction in late Summer of 2009 and  projected to be at Kings Lake for another 4 years.

Upon completion, Kings Lake will consists of approximately 100 homes. Toll Brothers will complete about 80 of them. The initial builder, Sotherby built the earlier 20 homes. When Sotherby went out of business in 2008, Toll Brothers stepped in to purchase this land to develop.

Kings Lake is known as the "Patio Homes of Kings Ridge subdivision". Patio homes, or also known as zero-lot-line homes may sound deceiving in this case. Most homes start at 3-bedroom floor plans. However, most floor plans can have options for a 4th bedroom addition. Toll Brothers offer flexible floor plans, so even if there is a floor plan that my not work completely, structural changes can be easily completed to get the Buyers the house they truly want. These homes start in the 3,000 square feet into just over 4,000 square feet.

Kings Lakes and Toll Brothers have a variety of brick and stone exterior elevations. Mediterranean and stucco elevations are also available.

Kings Lake starts at $400K and basic high-end floor plans around $430,000. Some of the nice features that come standard in these Kings Lake homes are direct vent enclosed fireplace, Low-E energy saving windows, hardwood floor in entry and foyer, standard tile in 12-, 13- and 18-inch, granite countertops, GE stainless steel appliances and blown insulation in attic area over living area.

Kings Lake HOA is a part of the Kings Ridge Homeowner's Association. The annual dues are $700 and it is managed by Premier Communities, located in Dallas, TX. There is a greenbelt in the community along with a lake that greets you as you drive into the community. The "bigger" Kings Ridge has a hike/ bike trail that nestled along homes in the community.

Directions to Kings Lake:
Kings Lake is located west of the Tollway on Spring Creek Parkway off Kings Manor Lane, just after Shoal Creek community. Turn Left (south) into Kings Manor Lane and Kings Lake is on your right.
